Homebuyer Education
About the Program
In-person Education
In-person workshops for Home Stretch Homebuyer Education are provided. The classes provide extensive education on the people and processes involved in purchasing a home. Classes are a total of 8 hours in length and are held in Alexandria for 2 evenings (No Zoom). Cost for classes is $40, and a certificate is awarded at the end that assists participants in qualifying for various loan products. Cost should not be a factor; scholarships are available upon request.

Online Education
Online homebuyer education courses are available through Framework. Framework is the only online homebuyer education course designed by experts in online learning. Framework meets many lenders’ requirements for homebuyer education, but check with yours to make sure an online course is acceptable.

Classes are held once a month from 4:30-8:30 every third Tuesday and Thursday of each month. Must register! $40 per household.
