馃敼 A Legacy of Service
Community Action was born out of President Lyndon B. Johnson鈥檚 1964 War on Poverty. For over 60 years, these agencies have been the front line in the fight against poverty, empowering families, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities where they’re needed most.
馃敼 What We Do
From helping families stay warm in the winter to providing early childhood education, job training, food access, housing support, and more鈥擟ommunity Action Agencies serve millions of Americans each year with compassion, dignity, and real solutions.
