Free Tax Preparation
About the Program
WCMCA operates a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic during the months of February-April each year that provides free tax preparation services to income eligible MN residents. Volunteer tax preparers have been provided required training and have passed IRS testing for VITA certification. Each year, our volunteers assist hundreds of low-income, working families secure their tax credits which in turn provides an economic boom to our local community! This year, limited in person appointments are available as well as low contact drop off.
Taxpayers can also do their own taxes through myfreetaxes.com.
MyFreeTaxes.com is a stand-alone website that helps eligible taxpayers do their tax returns for free while receiving assistance, if needed.
Eligibility
