WCMCA receives Above & Beyond Award

West Central Minnesota Communities Action, Inc. Head Start Program received the “Above and Beyond” Award from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) on behalf of the Secretary of Defense on Monday, May 7, 2018.

WCMCA Head Start Family Education Specialist, Captain Chessie Andrist, nominated WCMCA’s Head Start Program for the award because of the support she has received as an enlisted Captain.  The Department of Defense thanked WCMCA for going the extra mile to support their Guard and Reserve employees who are a vital part of our national defense.
